Accounting Manager, External Reporting

Manager Financial Reporting

The primary responsibilities of this position include reporting to the parent company under US GAAP and International Accounting Standards. Specifically, responsibilities will include:

Manage IFRS monthly / quarterly reporting processes
Work closely with GAAP policy group to ensure ongoing GAAP compliance
Preparation of US GAAP financial statements for T-Mobile USA and a number of subsidiaries
Coordinate / monitor the work of external auditors
Preparation of US GAAP reporting package to the TMUSA audit committee
Manage External Reporting's SOX compliance processes, including documenting and remediation of financial reporting controls
Assist with the management of the External Reporting team
Significant involvement in the development of future External Reporting system solutions
Special projects and analysis
Require:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business required
Minimum 5 years related experience
Public accounting/audit experience
Familiarity with SAP
Knowledge of US GAAP, German GAAP and International Accounting Standards
Excellent oral and written communication skills and documentation and organizational skills
Must possess the ability to analyze and resolve issues within a large, complex operating structure
CPA desired
