Accounting Manager / Financial Reporting

BF Consultants, Inc. (an Accretive Solutions Company) is a professional services firm with two offices in Southern California (LA&OC). We specialize in long-term projects focusing in the areas of accounting, finance, Sarbanes Oxley compliance, and information technology. Due to our recent growth, we are looking to add project based professionals for current client opportunities in Los Angeles. Our primary goal is to build long-term relationships with our consultants, provide challenging long-term opportunities, and offer very attractive pay rates with a solid benefits package.

We are currently looking for an Accounting Manager with the following background:

Big 4 or local CPA firm experience (CPA?s or MBA?s preferred) Experience with the compliance of all accounting, tax and financial reporting standards and regulations as required by regulating agencies. Hands on knowledge of preparing and insuring timely, compliant, and accurate external financial reporting.Monitor agency activity for proposals or effective changes in accounting standards, SEC reporting requirements, Sarbanes-Oxley policies and related events.Ability to identify and develop work plans to implement required changes to financial operations/reporting. Demonstrated experience in FASB interpretation, financial statement preparation, and statement of cashflows preparation. Advance knowledge in accounting for loan and lease receivables. Excellent writing skills to assist in maintaining SOX documentation.
