Job Responsibilities:


Responsible for the accounting of several operating divisions, which includes coordinating and ensuring the timeliness of the monthly close process, maintaining the general ledger and monthly reconciliation schedules, coordinating various audits and supervising several staff accountants.

Ensure all deadlines are met regarding the monthly close process
Ensure all journal entries are properly recorded in accordance with GAAP
Communicate accounting issues with division controllers/assistant controllers
Maintain the accuracy of monthly reconciliation schedules
Responsible for coordinating various audits
Prepare account analysis, maintain support and communicate issues with the Company's external auditors
Coordinate various audits regarding the Company's licensors
Responsible for assisting the Company's retail divisions with the budgeting of certain expenses
Responsible for maintaining the General Ledger
Responsible for the preparation and coordination of numerous ad hoc projects
Responsible for supervising several staff accountants

Job Requirements:



Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accounting, CPA a plus
5 or more years of Accounting experience
