ACCOUNTING MANAGER (contract assignment)

 

Description:

 

We have an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Accounting Manager to fill a CONTRACT assignment.  This person would be responsible for assigning and auditing the work of the accounting department to ensure department goals and objectives are met through a mixture of guidance and delegation.

 

Responsibilities:

?  Responsible for monthly financial statement preparation and year end financial audits.

?  Responsible for the review and approval of coding of general ledger and accounts payable transactions.

?  Prepares quarterly Sales & Use tax returns.

?  Assigns, audits, and supervises the work of accounting department employees in multiple locations.

?  Responsible for supervising the accounting procedures of the company.

?  May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Requirements:

?  Bachelor?s degree in Accounting required

?  4 years accounting with heavy experience in auditing and/or compilations a plus

?  Previous supervisory experience required.

?  Excellent analytical skills and oral and written communication skills

?  CPA certification or equivalent work experience a plus
