Accounting Manager for Downtown Manufacturing Company!

ABOUT THE POSITION:

Accounting Manager
Responsibilities will include management of the day-to-day accounting operations, overseeing general ledger reporting, monthly close process, and billing functions for the company and its subsidiaries.
Manage the accounting and billing staff (currently 2 staff accountants, 1 senior accountant and 3 billing administrators). 
Primary responsibility of the position is for the monthly accounting close process including all balance sheet reconciliations and analysis as well as consolidation of the financial statements. 
Work closely with the Controller in the establishment and maintenance of corporate accounting principles, practices and procedures for the maintenance of fiscal records and preparation of financial reports.
Success in this position will require attention to details, organization and ability to effectively communicate and work as a team member with accounting personnel and management.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory experience
Ability to multi-task and meet critical deadlines successfully
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good knowledge of GAAP standards, practices and procedures.
JD Edwards experience a plus


COMPENSATION:

? Base salary: $70,000-75,000
