Accounting Research Specialist
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000
Do you like to perform technical accounting research? Do you want to serve as the "subject matter expert" on various areas of technical reporting? If so, this position is for you!
A public company headquartered in Richmond is in search of a top-notch, detail oriented specialist to perform research in various areas of accounting. This role will be responsible for monitoring emerging and existing accounting pronouncements related to financial reporting and documentation and providing upper management with guidance for navigating through US GAAP and SEC requirements.
Requirements:
- BS/BA in Accounting
- CPA preferred
- Big 4 Public Accounting experience, a plus
- Strong knowledge in SEC reporting requirements
- Proven research skills
