Accounting Specialist- Cash Applications

Acosta, North America's largest full-service sales and marketing agency providing outsourced sales, merchandising, marketing and promotional services to manufacturers in the consumer packaged goods industry, is currently seeking Accounting Specialists for our Corporate Headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida.

 

This position is responsible for the timely and accurate application of cash receipts to outstanding invoices and allocating unreconciled revenue receipts to appropriate general ledger accounts based on client, customer, branch, and division guidelines.  Responsible for identifying, communicating, and resolving client payment discrepancies. Must communicate with supervisors to expand the conversion of clients to electronics statements and automatic reconciliation of invoices to ensure accurate General Ledger revenue account coding. The incumbent will identify, properly code and clear special cash receipt transactions for subsidiary companies, advance payments, credit memos and unauthorized deductions.

 

A high school diploma/GED is required. A minimum of 2 years Accounting and data entry experience are desired.  Candidate must have strong attention to detail,data entry speed and accuracy as well as analytical skills.
