Accounting Supervisor – Product Cost

New River Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: NRPH) is currently seeking an experienced Accountant with proven success to serve as its Accounting Supervisor ? Product Cost.  The Company is a specialty pharmaceutical company developing novel pharmaceuticals that are generational improvements of widely-prescribed drugs in large and growing markets. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

 Manage the cost accounting function Provide support for product cost related activitiesServe as the finance and accounting group?s primary interface with the manufacturing and research & development groups on issues associated with product cost and inventory accounting.Establish, implement and maintain the Company?s cost accounting policies and proceduresMonitor and maintain compliance with Sarbanes Oxley requirements related to cost accounting and inventoryREQUIRED EXPERIENCE

 Minimum of 4 years experience in similar role or in a cost accounting functionIndustry experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry is preferred EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, LICENSES and/or REGISTRATIONS

 B.A. in finance or accounting is required.A CPA license is preferred.
