Job Description
This position will allow you to utilize your background in accounting in a manufacturing environment combined with your Japanese speaking reading and writing abilities to perform in this fast paced cutting edge facility. Duties include:


Prepares monthly interim financial statements and reporting required by federal and state agencies. Responds to inquiries by officers, managers or other departments regarding financial data relative to the operation of the company.

Will be responsible for reviewing payroll transactions, payroll tax returns, and other matters relating to payroll on no less than a monthly basis. Responsible for the general accounting activities including maintenance of general and subsidiary ledgers, analysis of printouts, and review of payroll records.

Develops and maintains an internal audit control system. Collects all data, prepares and analyzes semi-annual budget. Coordinates with other departments concerning short and long-term fiscal needs and plans and responds to requests for information. Will be responsible for annual workers compensation audit

Supervises daily Accounting operations. Oversees fixed asset management Will be responsible for annual financial audit and making decisions on reporting issues. Responsible for annual 401(k) retirement plan audit including discrimination and compliance issues, and verification of employee accounts.


Requirements
We are very interested in talking to candidates with the following qualifications:


A Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business, with a concentration in Accounting from an accredited college or university

Native level proficiency in spoken and written Japanese

Four years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, preferably in manufacturing

Management experience of at least 3 years
