Accounting Systems Liaison

ACCOUNTING SYSTEMS LIASION

 

Rapidly expanding financial services company providing financing for cosmetic and elective surgery located in downtown Chicago is seeking an Accounting Systems Liaison for their growing company.

 

Primary responsibility is to serve as liaison between the Accounting department and IT. The system liaison will work with IT on all projects that will impact the accounting and finance group. Typically, these projects are those involving but not limited to changes in the Vision loan accounting system, repository and the accretion model. In this capacity the system liaison will evaluate the impact of the proposed changes, review test plans and test results making recommendations on their thoroughness and adequacy and preparing a written report to management.

 

Candidates must be degreed Accountants preferably with a CPA.  Must have experience testing mainframe based lending systems, very strong experience with Excel and Crystal Reports and strong attention to detail.  Audit and/or financial institution experience is a strong plus.
