Accounting Technician

Pilkington North America is the premier supplier of high quality glass for the building and automotive industries worldwide. Currently our Automotive Glass Replacement (AGR) division seeks an Accounting Technician based out of Columbus, Ohio.
This position is primarily responsible for performing routine accounting support for the Automotive Glass Replacement (AGR) division, as well as facilitation of month end closing, reporting, account investigation, and other local finance activities.
Specific duties include:
Preparation of journal entries for month-end close process
? Account reconciliations
? Account investigation
? Distribution of management reports.
? Support for AGR service center managers
? Administrative functions for the accounting function.
Qualified candidates will meet the following requirements.
High school diploma or equivalent and five (5) years experience in finance or accounting
Intermediate level or above in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
General knowledge of accounting policies and procedures
Excellent verbal and written communication
Excellent organizational skills
