Accounting and Finance Positions

Expanding Tampa Bay firm has several newly created positions available.  Due to our tremendous growth, we are in need of top notch professionals to join our elite team.  We are seeking candidates who strive for excellence and are true professionals in manner and performance.  Qualifications are listed by position below.

 

Accounting Supervisor:

  4 year degree from an accredited university.

  At least 5 years of experience in a mid to large size firm, 2 in a supervisory role.

Proven experience supervising clerk through staff positions.

  Ability to learn quickly, create efficiencies, and establish policy and procedure.

  Motivate staff to perform in deadline oriented environment.

  Review and analyze financial statements for multiple clients.

  Understanding of accounting software, excel, word, adobe, etc.

  Assist in annual budget process.

 

Senior Staff Accountant:

  4 year degree from an accredited university.

  3-5 years of experience in a mid to large size firm.

Review work of accounting assistants and staff accountant.

  Coordinate with firm?s departments to gather information.

  Prepare financial statements for multiple clients.

  Analyze and review information for accuracy and reasonableness.

  Prepare information for dissemination to clients.

  Ability to meet deadlines. 

  Assist in annual budget process.

 

Staff Accountant:

  4 year degree from an accredited university.

  At least one year of experience in a mid to large size firm.

Prepare journal entries

  Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts.

  Coordinate with various staff members to gather information.

  Review work of accounting and clerical assistants.

 

Financial Analyst:

  4 year degree from an accredited university.

  At least 3-5 years of experience in a mid to large size firm.

Work with clients to prepare and maintain financial data.

  Microsoft Access experience.

  Calculate principal and interest and create tracking mechanism.

  Prepare documents for financing purposes.

  Maintain and reconcile trust accounts in the general ledger via journal entry input.

  Assist in annual budget process.

 

Bookkeper:

  At least 2 years in a similar role.

  MYOB experience preferred.

Enter AP and print checks.

  Create monthly invoices.

  Prepare deposits.

  Coordinate payroll processing.

  Maintain vendor and customer files.

  Ad hoc reports as required.
