Accounts Payable Accountant (MCI)

Job Duties:
? To ensure the timely & accurate processing of vendor payments and to monitor overall compliance to MNAO?s policies and procedures.
? Reconcile vendor accounts in the accounts payable system and confirm appropriate documentation has been received.
? Audit and review incoming Mazda Canada invoices being paid. Review batches that pertain to invoice payments in order to answer customer inquiries from within Mazda.
? Provide ongoing support to management on various special projects, specific to vendor account reconciliations.
? Audit, review and perform data entry for incoming invoices that are over 30 days and for Late fees/charges onto spreadsheet, working with Mazda community and the A/P department.
? Receive inquiries on invoice payment status by phone or e-mail and reply with an update within 24 hours.

Qualifications:
? 1 or more years of Accounting experience
? Knowledge of Accounts Payable systems (SAP experience preferred)
? Effective Communication Skills
? Working Knowledge of PC based accounting application software-desired
? Standard office equipment skills including telephones, calculator, copiers and facsimile equipment
? Computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet applications
