Accounts Payable Associate - $32-38k

Seeking very sharp and knowledgeable accounts payable specialist for key role with growing dept in growing company.  The challenge of this position is the complexity of the accounts and the care with which they must be handled---not the volume.  Seek analytical and detail-oriented professional who enjoys investigating and problem solving.  Seek someone who understands the importance of compliance and thoroughness and enjoys working in a quality-oriented setting.

Specific responsibilities include:

  Reviewing and validating invoices for payment.

  Cross-checking all data to supporting documents and maintaining accounting system in a timely and accurate manner.

  Matching checks with invoices and routing for signature.

  Researching vendor inquires as needed.

Assisting with Sarbanes compliance initiatives. 

Requirements include Associates or Bachelors degree and 2-5 years Accounts Payable experience.Additional preferences include knowledge of Ross or other large ERP system, Microsoft Office applications (specifically Excel) as well as 2+ years working in a corporate setting---preferably in a publicly-held, highly regulated setting.
