Accounts Payable - Bilingual English/Spanish

Sigue Corp. is a leading provider of money transfer services for consumers sending money from the U.S. to Latin American countries, including Mexico. The company is located in the City of San Fernando, California.



Summary

This position will process in a timely and accurate basis all payables, which includes: coding, match AP invoices to purchases orders and packing slips prior to payment of invoice.

Review and reconcile vendor statements and AP accounts.

Review and verify invoices for proper authorization and necessary attachments

Respond to AP inquiries from vendors and internal customers

Posting of transactions to the GL

Processing of agent commissions

Print checks and place them into envelopes for mailing and file backup documentation

Interact with employees from other departments regarding check request, travel reimbursements, expense reports, sales commissions etc.



Responsibility:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



Process vendor invoices, research invoices and statements with vendors.

Process and review expense reports

Process debit and credit memos, cash applications and some other A/P and A/R functions including posting, check runs, reviewing checks for accuracy, and mailing and distributing checks.

Maintain files of invoices.

Communicating with vendors regarding discrepancies and inquires.

Other duties as may be assigned



SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:



Must have minimum 2 years A/P experience

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish/English.

Ability to positively interact with customers.

Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Internet.

Ability to work on multiple tasks accurately.

Exhibit adaptability in a team oriented environment.
