Accounts Payable Clerk

 

This position will be primarily responsible for processing vendor invoices for payment weekly.  The position also requires verbal and written communication to vendors, secretaries, attorneys, and other Firm personnel regarding requests on the status of personal reimbursement and vendor payments.  Position consists of heavy data entry and filing of vendor and personal reimbursements for all departments with the Firm.  Special projects as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

Minimum of a high school diploma is required, some college is preferred.  Minimum of 1 year recent accounts payable experience is a must, preferably in a law firm.  Understanding of general ledger coding is essential.  Knowledge of MSOffice and Accounting software is required, CMS experience is preferred.  Candidate must have excellent communication skills, be organized, detail oriented and highly motivated to work in very busy environment.  Typing speed of 30wpm is needed.
