Accounts Payable Clerk (BU)

The Accounting Department of a top DC investment firm is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist. Primary responsibilities will include: performing accounts payable and other general assignments. Responsibilities include but not limited to receiving invoices and date stamping, entering invoice information into AP system, performing check-runs and mailing payments, coding expenses proper GL accounts, ensuring all proper authorizations have been obtained, etc. General responsibilities also include performing certain month-end procedures, assist in preparation of reconciliation and reports, etc.

Qualifications :
Minimum two years previous experience in an accounting department. Knowledgeable of Solomon accounting software is preferable. Bachelor's degree in accounting is desired. Must be very attention to detail and have excellent communication skills.
