Accounts Payable Clerk II

As a result of continued growth, we are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk II.

 

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Performs established accounts payable procedures to support the processing of payments for services, supplies and materials.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Verify approvals and input of invoices for generation of checks.
2. Resolve inquiries and discrepancies of purchase orders, invoices and payments with both internal staff and external vendors while maintaining a professional attitude
3. Maintain spreadsheets to support accounts payable process
4. Prepare/process month end accruals and associated journal entries
5. Daily accounts payable reconciliation of sub ledger with general ledger
6. File maintenance of paid / unpaid invoices, journal entries and account recs
7. File maintenance of vendor statements and W-9?s
8. Other duties, as assigned

 

DEPARTMENT SPECIFIC/NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma
Minimum 2 years of accounts payable experience with proven computer skills.
Excellent data entry skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Must possess excellent communication skills and professional attitude to interact with internal staff, at all levels, and external vendors
Must be detail oriented.
Experience with JDE/EOne, BPCS or IMREX a plus.

 

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS/SCOPE:
Interacts daily with all levels of management and plant personnel.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Workspace is a cubicle with a desktop pc.
