Accounts Payable Specialists

Position Description: A leader in OLED microdisplays and virtual imaging technologies. This company integrates high-resolution OLED microdisplays, magnifying optics, and systems technologies to create a virtual image that appears comparable to that of a computer monitor or a large-screen television. We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist with the following skills and qualifications below. The responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist include: Reviewing vendor invoices to ensure inclusion of required information, including correct authorization; Creating and maintaining accurate vendor records; Assigning general ledger account number to non-PO invoices and processing accounts payable vouchers; Responding to both employee and vendor queries in a timely manner; Researching vendor issues and recommending solutions; Auditing and processing employee expense reports and verifying correct authorization; Processing weekly check run, gathering necessary signatures and mailing checks; Preparing accruals and account reconciliations for month end; Assisting with audit and month end close questions; Participating in the Sarbanes-Oxley project, including assisting with documenting, testing and monitoring the companys internal controls.

Position Requirements:

The requirements for the Accounts Payable Specialist include the following: Minimum two years experience in accounts payable; Minimum of two years of accounting or related education (Associates degree or higher); Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Working knowledge of accounting software, Great Plains preferred; Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, strong Excel skills; Robust ten key and data processing skills; Excellent attention to detail and follow through skills; Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment; Self-starter with superior customer service skills accompanied with a focus on problem solving; Works well independently and as part of a team.
