Accounts Payables Coordinator

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

 Processes all vendor invoices, including coding, verifying accuracy, verifying approvals, and entering into accounting system in accordance with processes and procedures. Verify that a Purchase Orders, payment requests and invoices received have the correct authorizations and are accompanied by all appropriate documentations. Prepares checks for payment, as well as handle incoming check requests, such as expense reports. Accounts payable administrative duties including, but not limited to, opening mail, sorting mail, routing invoices for approval, filing and preparing checks for mail. Prepares and reconciles weekly petty cash. Assists in performing month-end, quarterly and year-end Accounts Payable closing activities. Respond to vendor inquiries; monitor and escalate vendor payment issues. Assists with G/L reconciliation. Communicates accounting policies, practices and procedures with department and company managers and vendors. Other tasks and projects as assigned. 



REQUIREMENTS:

 3+ years experience in accounts payable and accounting/finance. Associate's Degree in Accounting preferred. MS Office, Excel and Word. Must have excellent customer service skills. Excellent communication and organizational skills. High attention to detail, ability to multi-task and a team-player. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Peachtree software experiences a plus.
