We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to be responsible for the collection performance and maintenance of customers' account balances.  The successful candidate will manage an assigned portfolio of customer accounts, including collections, payment arrangements, flagging, and cancellations.

 

Specific responsibilities include:

?  Calls, corresponds and/or visits customers in efforts to collect payments or resolve disputes and discrepancies

?  Performs customer account reconciliations and statements across IBC business units

?  Prepares and conducts training sessions on policies, procedures and systems

?  Handles calls and correspondence to and from internal and external customers

?  Participates on various teams and works on special projects as needed

 

To qualify, one must possess a minimum of two years accounts receivable/credit & collection experience, preferably supplemented with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration.  In lieu of the educational qualification, a thorough knowledge of the company's systems and procedures may be applied.  Candidates must be organized, flexible, and demonstrate a high level of initiative, as well as, the ability to effectively communicate with both company and outside personnel. Proficiency in Lotus, Excel, Word Perfect, Microsoft Word, and Access is required.
