Accounts Receivable Cash Analyst

Global Signal Services LLC (Global), one of the country's largest telecommunication tower companies has an immediate need for an Accounts Receivable Cash Analyst. Salary depends on level of experience.

 

 

Under the direction of the Accounts Receivable Manager the AR Cash Analyst performs a variety of activities to assist with the cash application process including check identification, application of application of prepaid monies and on account monies. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

?  Identify all checks that were not processed thru Payment Predictor and could not be identified within 24 hours by the lockbox processor;

?  Identify all wires and ACHs that are downloaded from the bank (BOA) daily

?  Identify the in house Mail Deposit;

?  Contacts customer when all other identification procedures have not warranted an application of the check and/or wire;

?  Works closely with the A/R Supervisor and the Sprint A/R department in identifying all monies received after Sprint acquisition;

?  Works closely with the Lease Administration Department to ensure all payments are applied correctly; and

?  Reviews and post all payment worksheets created in a manual deposit by the lockbox processor.

 

Knowledge & Skills:

 

?  AS Degree in Finance or Business or HS degree with 3-5 years relevant business experience;

?  Highly skilled in Microsoft Office applications;

?  PeopleSoft experience preferred;

?  Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment and meet established deadlines;

?  Excellent interpersonal skills, effective organization and ability to work in a team environment; and

?  Self-starter with can-do attitude.
