Accounts Receivable Cash Receipts Specialist
Accounts Receivable Cash Receipts Specialist
Dynamic client in the Charlotte, NC area needs an A/R Cash Receipts Specialist. This temp-to-hire opportunity has an open salary depending on experience with great CORESTAFF benefits.
Overall Function
To maintain cash receipts received on accounts and monies receive for Non A/R deposits. Report to management on all cash receipts issues.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Post cash receipts daily, calls customers on any short payments and reconciles any discrepancies.
Identification of misapplied funds, unapplied credits or posting errors.
Prepares deposits for Non A/R receipts.
Maintains non A/R and non trade notes spreadsheets for accounting.
Applies credit card transitions in a timely manner.
Maintains A/R records in a daily file.
Support A/R personnel when needed.
Follow Company policies and Supervisor?s instructions.
Other duties as assigned
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of accounting
Attention to detail, multi-tasking and effective time management
Working knowledge of spreadsheet, word-processing and accounting software applications
A/R with Cash Receipts experience.
