Accounts Receivable/Credit Cards Accounting Position

WILCOHESS, LLC, a leading operator of travel plazas and convenience stores in the Southeastern United States, is searching for a highly energetic, motivated individual to join our financial accounting team.

 

General Description:

 

This position is responsible for the daily and monthly preparation and reconciliation of credit card data.  This individual must be able to reconcile information received from the credit card processor against information received and processed by the bank and then trace and reconcile transactions posted to the general ledger.  Understanding and preparation of journal entries is required.  A minimum of 2 years experience in accounts receivable and credit cards preferred; however, prior accounting background and job history is considered. 

 

 

Qualifications:

 

? 2 ? 5 years related experience with accounts receivable and credit cards required

? Proven accounting and bookkeeping skills

? Solid understanding and experience with credit card processing, procedures, and payments a requirement.

? Proficiency using Microsoft Excel and Word

? Must be a self-starter who has the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve issues

? Possess strong analytical skills and detail-oriented with strong skills for accuracy

? Strong verbal and written communication skills

? Ability to work with time sensitive and confidential information and meet deadlines

? Professionally interact with other employees as well as management

? Maintain a professional work ethic

? Organized and dependable with the ability to multitask

? Desire to be part of a team
