Accounts Receivable Representative

DTA is currently seeking a hands-on Accounts Receivable Representative with excellent attention to detail.  This position will work closely with members of Company management to ensure optimum service levels for internal and external customers.

 

Responsibilities Complete all billing functions including creation of invoices, verifying information, mailing, receiving and reconcilingRespond to customer questions and concernsReconcile customers' accounts to identify open invoices and balance in the receivable systemDocument detailed collection activity into the receivable system on collection activitiesMaintain weekly collection reportsCollaborate with Accounting Manager on current collection activitiesSupport telephone queue systemCollaborate with Project Managers and Senior managementPerform ad hoc reportingMaintain accounts receivable ledgers and aging schedules

 

QualificationsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAttention to detailExperience in collections preferredStrong problem solving and research skillsFamiliarity with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and AccessKnowledge of accounting systems a plusAbility to multi-task and meet deadlinesSelf motivated and ability to work well under pressureStrong work ethic and teamwork skillsHigh School Diploma or equivalent3 ? 5 years experience in Accounting or related area
