Accounts ReceivableCollections Clerk

Job Purpose:

Collect on past due customer invoices for a Fortune 100 company. 


Duties:

* Obtain aging report daily to review past due items.


* Collect past due invoices and charge backs for several manufacturing plants.


* Work with plant contact and customer to get resolution on charge backs and past due invoices as soon as possible.


* Provide invoice copies and Proof of Delivery upon request.


* Make a continuous effort to broaden personal knowledge and skills to become more effective in the position. 


* Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.



 

Skills/Qualifications:

Personal initiative must be able to plan and organize work and follow through to completion, Good oral and written communication skills, Good interpersonal skills must be able to deal with customers and co-workers in a pleasant and effective manner, Accounts Receivable knowledge, PC skills such as Excel, Word, Lotus Notes and General Data Entry, General Math Skills, Ability to prioritize demanding workload and work without close supervision, Analyzing Information, Good attention to detail, Thoroughness.
