Accounts Receiveable Representative

We are also involved in the manufacturing, distribution, and retail sales of vision products.? Currently, we are looking for an Accounts Receivable Representative to join our fast growing Finance department in our Corporate Office, located in Plainview, New York.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for all aspects of Accounts Receivable including collection of past due accounts for Vision Care unit for assigned accounts.

?

Essential Responsibilities:

????Prepare daily bank deposit, record on C/R journal and apply to A/R system for all assigned accounts.

????Record all wire transfers to C/R journal and apply to A/R system.

????Research all payment discrepancies and partner with associates to assist with resolutions.

????Prepare all necessary DM?s or CM?s and enter to Solomon.

??? Contact with customers to ensure collection of overdue balances.

????Handle all customer inquiries.

??? Record all bank transfers on C/R and C/D journals daily.

????Import and reconcile semi-monthly billing and monthly administrative billing.

??? Prepare monthly sales analysis spreadsheets (CDP Schedules).

??? Meet with AVP Finance monthly to review aging.

Education:Associates Degree required.

?

Experience & Background:Microsoft Excel experienceMinimum three years accounting experience, including Accounts Receivable.
