Accounts Recievable Coordinator

Looking for an Accounting Specialist to join a team of 13 in the Division Accounting department of CB Richard Ellis. The Division Accounting team generates billings in excess of $150 million for assignments located across the country.  The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for reporting, and facilitating collection of management fees and payroll billings.  This position will interface extensively with internal CBRE employees.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Produce and maintain A/R report for multiple departments within the AS and GCS divisions

 

Distribute A/R report to Controllers and Market Leaders weekly and/or monthly as appropriate

 

Monitor A/R collections and follow up with internal CBRE employees, including Market Leaders, Controllers and Accountants

 

Attend weekly review meeting with Assistant Controller to establish collection priorities

 

Respond to inquiries from internal CBRE employees regarding invoices and cash application

 

Process invoice adjustments in Peoplesoft Accounting System as required

 

Provide invoice copies on request

 

Reconcile and apply unapplied cash

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

One to three years of Accounts Receivable experience. Familiarity with PeopleSoft Accounting software preferred.

None.

 COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Requires a high level of commitment to customer service.

 OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

Requires good organizational skills, attention to detail and openness to new ideas and procedures. Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel required. Must have good research and problem solving skills.
