Accts Payable Coordinator

Swedish Match North America, Inc., a leading producer and manufacturer of consumer goods, is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator for the Corporate office in Richmond, VA.


Major Responsibilities Include: 

Responsible for processing Vendor invoices in the Richmond Business Control department for SMNA and General Cigar, Inc.
Responsible for processing payments for invoices, check requests, purchase order invoices, sales and use, excise and payroll taxes, customer credit memos, and manual expense reports in Richmond utilizing an automated Accounts Payable vouchering and payment system.
Assist Business Control personnel during monthly financial closing process to ensure the proper recording of company transactions.
Responsible for filing and storage of accounts payable invoices and supporting documentation.
Assist Accounts Payable Coordinators, Supplier Master Coordinator, and Travel Coordinator as needed.

Requirements:


Education: High School graduate. Business College, Principles of Accounting or Bookkeeping courses preferred.
Experience: Minimum of two years in an Accounts Payable or other transactional level Accounting or Bookkeeping position.
Skills: Extremely organized, able to handle high volume transactional activity and work with several internal/external customers on a daily basis. Analytical and conceptual abilities; Accounts Payable vouchering process. Thorough working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Oracle. Familiarity with Accounts Payable software systems helpful.
