Acounting Specialist Team Member

The following position is currently available at our Shared Service Center, conveniently located at the Dunn Loring Metro Station on the Orange Line in Vienna, VA:

In this position you will have two years of work experience involving real estate transactions and experience using JD Edwards and MS Office applications. You will set up new and terminating accounts. Assist with the initial setup of fixed assets on the accounting system. Reconcile A/R and other accounts. Track taxes, prepaid amortizations and other payables. Receive bills, request checks for payment and mail out checks as required. Generate accounting work papers for reports. Input data, review for accuracy and print reports on a regular basis. Research and correct errors. Review bills and financial reports for accuracy. Post expenses using accounting software. Process fees and interest. Initiate wire transfer requests. An Associate?s Degree in Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. A Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting and designation as a CPA along with exposure to MRI, Yardi and Optika is preferred.
