Acquisition Analyst

Duties will include planning, executing, and controlling acquisition logistics efforts and providing administrative and technical leadership for a multi-company team. Analyze complex acquisition strategies, budgeting, and logistics issues and assemble the life cycle management plan. Work closely with government management, engineering staff, and industry counterparts in a collaborative environment. Provide program management support and performance assessment for acquisition development, modification programs. Assist in program risk identification, assessment, and mitigation planning. Analyze requirements definition and change impacts, project design maturation, and cost and performance tradeoff considerations. REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS: Possess excellent analytical and management skills; experience with contracting, logistics, systems planning, research, development and engineering, or test and evaluation required; knowledge of DoD acquisition management practices required. Ability to work effectively in an IPT environment, including assuming leadership roles on IPTs required. BA or BS degree in Engineering Management, Management, Systems Engineering, Integrated Logistics Systems, or Industrial Engineering required and 4+ years related experience. PMI PMP, or Acquisition Workforce Level II, III, or equivalent preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suites.
