Acquisition Consultant

The BearingPoint Acquisition Solution team is currently searching for acquisition specialists.

Performance Profile:

- 2-3 years experience with Acquisitions.

-Acquisition specialist to work with existing team in providing acquisition best-practices advice and drafting performance-based contracts in support of our DoD client.

-Experience with performance-based contracts (PWS, SOO) and developing performance metrics is a real plus.

-Individual will be part of an existing engagement team in managing/supporting the acquisition life cycle of a number of large service-based IT acquistions.

-Individual will work at the client site in Arlington, VA as part of a small team. Daily interaction with the client is required.

Position-specific Requirements:

-Background in Federal Gov't IT contracting, especially performance-based.

-6 months + working with performance-based contracting.

-DoD acquisition experience a plus.

Logistics:

-May require infrequent (2 - 3 times a year) travel to West Coast client offices for up to one week in duration.
