Acquisitions Analyst

HISTORY OF COMPANY:

Crescent Heights, one of the largest property development companies is seeking an Acquisitions Analyst to join their team in their NYC office.  The ideal candidate will perform financial and accounting analysis, underwriting, and due diligence of new property acquisitions but not limited to the following responsibilities:

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Creates and coordinates due diligence files.Creates offer books.Creates pro-formas for new properties. Generates letters of Intent upon request.Contacts brokers, lenders, and sellers to gather information.Reviews confidential agreements with Legal department.Performs market analysis.Determines feasibility and profitability of acquisition.Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

None.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

?  Strong knowledge of standard accounting practices, principles and procedures.Understanding of basic Real Estate valuation, underwriting, and market analysis principles.

?  Recent accounting experience in business combinations and purchase accounting.  Strong analytical, technical and verbal and written communication skills.Flexibility and ability to multi-task.

?  Well organized, deadline oriented, good time management skills. Must interact effectively with all levels of employees and external contacts.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting required. Two (2) to three (3) years of accounting or acquisitions and due diligence experience. Computer skills including: internet, e-mail, (MS Outlook) MS Excel, and MS Word. Familiarity with accounting and database applications.
