Adjustment Processor

(NASDAQ: HHGP), a $1.2 billion global company, is one of the world?s leading professional staffing, outsourcing and employment lifecycle solution providers.  Due to our service offerings expanding across the country, we are in need of an internal accounting professional.  We are looking for a professional Adjustment Processor that will be able to manage specific functions while servicing our vendors and employees.

 

THIS POSITION IS AN INTERNAL ROLE WITHIN HUDSON.

 

SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:

 

Individual will perform operational support functions for a local and regional staffing office in the Pittsburgh, PA, area.  Responsible for the timely and accurate execution of various types of adjustments required to make corrections for a local and regional staffing office. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyzes, prepares the input of adjustment data, using an automated system to produce accurate and timely adjustments.
Evaluates adjustment entries weekly to record information for metrics scoring for all types of adjustments and to record volume counts.  Prepares summary report and will review with Team Leader. 
Follows procedures for SOX compliance to ensure proper internal controls are being followed.

 

REQUIREMENTS:
2 or more years of reconciliations of accounts. 
Thorough understanding of debits and credits.
Strong ability to plan, organize and direct the activities of a department.
Ability to work well with others.
Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills.
High level of proficiency with spreadsheet applications, word process and database applications.
Strong customer service orientation.
Excellent communication skills
Ability to prioritize
