A small law office in Denver seeks a bookkeeper and general administrative assistant.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Create and maintain personnel and payroll filesPrepare payroll and submit checks for signatureResolve payroll issues as neededIssue checks for bills and settlementsMaintain files as requiredPrepare correspondence with clientsMaintain correspondence with service providers and building managementAnswer phonesSchedule appointmentsAssist paralegals and attorneys as neededPerform other duties as assignedConsent to sign a confidentiality agreement

 

Skills and Abilities:Ability to work in a team environmentKnowledgeable basic accounting proceduresMust be self-motivated and possess initiativeAbility to multitaskEfficient with QuickBooks Accounting SoftwareWindows, Internet, and Outlook savvyProfessional writing abilityOrganizational skillsAbility to navigate and use an electronic database and standard electronic office equipment

 

Qualifications:Minimum two years pervious experience in bookkeeping position
