The Credit Analyst works under the supervision of the Credit Manager. Analysts perform various duties to include initiating and executing procedures within pre-set guidelines for assigned areas, developing follow-up procedures and initiating collection activity and customer contact. Responsibilities also include maintaining current account files, preparing reports and accumulating accounts receivable data. Researching and resolving problems and working with other departments to resolve chronic penalty issues. Performing special projects and other related duties as required.

Three year credit/collection experience;college degree in Business or Finance preferred. Experience in automated credit and A/R systems. PC proficiency with an emphasis on Microsoft Word and Excel. Excellent collection techniques essential, along with a background in deduction reconciliation and negotiation. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to handle multiple projects. Some account visits may be required.
