Our client

A business unit of a blue-chip Connecticut-based company.  The organization has a long established track record of financial success and company-wide growth.Within the finance group, they have a proven history of promoting talented former Big 4 professionals throughout the organization and managing their careers to achieve maximum exposure to corporate and business unit operations.

 

The selected candidate will:

1. Serve as the internal point person related to all merger, acquisition and integration activity.

2. Perform due diligence and evaluation related to proposed transactions.

3. Develop appropriate transaction structures.

4. Evaluate M&A opportunities.

5. Assist in special projects and financial reporting processes as necessary.

 

Prospective candidates will possess the following skills/experiences:

1. A strong knowledge of GAAP gained in 4-5 years of Big4 public accounting.

2. Familiarity with internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

3. Solid analytical and interpersonal skills and a dedication to teamwork.

4. Strong work initiative and the ability to adapt to new challenges and ideas.

5. BS in Accounting, CPA certification.
