Ap Supervisor

  DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Establishes and manages the efforts of the Invoice Processing function

Insures the timely processing of all supplier invoices while maximizing supplier cash terms

Establishes audit procedure to maximize group?s ability to process the majority of the invoice volume

Work closely with Supplier Account Services Group to identify training needs of associates

Maintain performance evaluation process including disciplinary procedure

Provide a positive environment that encourages associate growth within the department

Develops process mapping for functional group

Develops measurement and reporting standards for functional group

Monitor quality and consistency of incoming supplier calls

Supports continuous improvement initiatives within the department

Focuses on Quality and Excellence in Customer Service

Supports the efforts of other functional groups within the department as required.

Performs all duties inherent in the role of supervisor as defined in the code of conduct including hiring, termination, review and development of associates.

 

Minimum 5 years related business experience is required.

Minimum 3 years Supervisory experience required.

Working knowledge of accounting process is required.

Strong PC/computer skills including EXCEL and WORD is required.

Excellent motivational/people skills are required.

Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
