This incumbent will support the implementation of sales strategies for all production channels through production management and internal/external strategic partners. Fulfills division and corporate goals through implementation, development and support of a major product line as it relates to the appropriate channel of Home Loans. Implements a synergistic approach to support all business channels while creating customer value and increasing market share.
 
o Collaboration with internal departments in the formulation of approaches, tactics and plans to achieve timely, successful fulfillment.

o Define and implement an overall sales strategy plan to penetrate markets by managing sales activities. Interface with industry sources to identify potential markets and promote the value of WAMU and these product lines.

o Makes presentations to senior-level steering committee representatives for the development of project objectives, negotiations of project scope with client, risk identification, negotiations on project deliverables.

o Provides functional and technical leadership for assigned cross-organizational program teams and contractor staff when needed, and mentors less experienced team members.

o Monitors all processes and activities of involved projects to ensure adherence to policies, standards, procedures and processes and their compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.

o Demonstrates savvy in problem solving and in identifying and redirecting "at risk" programs

o Assesses objectives for the program phases and recommends strategies and tactics to satisfy business needs

 



o 8+ years of mortgage product/project management experience
o  Strong business understanding of corporate methodology to ensure the successful origination and fulfillment of the products.
o Expert capabilities in the following-communication management, facilitation, management of team dynamics, relationship building, influencing, problem solving, decision making, strategic thinking and leadership.
o Mortgage industry and regulatory knowledge. Understanding of the competitors and their products.
o Excellent communication skills. Experience creating written procedures, conduction group presentations and disseminating timely information to subordinates and peers.
