ASSISTANT CREDIT MANAGER

Indalex is the largest independent extruder of soft alloy aluminum products in North America employing approximately 3,500 employees.  Indalex products include standard and custom profiles, conduit, finishing, and fabricated parts that are used in a variety of applications.Indalex supplies extruded aluminum solutions around the world and around the corner with a Coast-to-Coast network in North America.  The U.S. facilities are located in California, Georgia, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Indiana, and Ohio and Canadian Locations in Vancouver, Calgary, Mississauga, and Montreal.  to further support our customers needs we also have a partnership with an Asian extruder. 

 

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

 

Manage the Company?s Accounts Receivable portfolio ensuring that

Credit exposures are reasonable and the collection of balances due are

Received in a timely manner.

 

Process and approve credit applications in a timely and accurate manner.

 

Analyze financial information received from customers and make appropriate

Recommendations relating to credit limits.

 

Work with Sales, Customer Service and Production Depts. Advising the status of

Customer orders.

 

Assist in the resolution of disputed customer balances while working with

Customers, Sales and Customer Service.

 

Other duties as may be assigned.

 

Requirements:

 

  BS in Business Administration or greater.

  5 years of working credit experience preferable in manufacturing environment.

  Knowledge of PC and mainframe hardware and software.

  Ability to manage large volumes of A/R customers, balances and information

  Requests in a timely and efficient manner.

  Ability to work well in a team environment with all levels of employees.

  Excellent organizational and communications skills with a keen eye to detail.

  Ability to meet deadline requirements.

 

This candidate will report to the Company?s  Credit Manager and will work in the Company?s Girard, OH office.
