Ingersoll Rand Climate Control Technologies Sector is seeking an experienced Assembly Auditor for our Bridgeton, MO location.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The purpose is to inspect cases prior to shipment ensuring that cases were built properly at the highest quality level possible. The results from this position will be a reduction in warranty cost, improved audit scores and improved customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct In-process and final audits of critical to quality features(blue card information).

Report findings and deficiencies to the line supervisors and operators. Assist in developing poke-yoke's to prevent issues.

Identify product deficiencies as a result from incorrect specifications, drawings or standards.

Verify effective implementation of corrective actions taken.

Verify effective implementation of Engineering Changes.

Conduct In-Process and Final Inspections Of Critical To Quality Features.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate Degree in Technology preferred.

Ability to read and interrupt engineering drawings and specifications.

Ability to properly use calipers, micrometers and measuring devices.

Ability to verify compliance through visual, mechanical and alternative methods.

Ability to perform basic mathematical functions and interpret results.

Clear communication skills (Verbal and Written).

Ability to enter data into the computer.

Understand of Quality Terminology.

Must Pass QA Inspection Test.

Utilize a digital camera and/or video equipment.
