Job Overview



 

As such, the Assistant Controller will play an active role in, monitoring and achieving the operation?s annual goal, while providing financial, analytical and decision-making leadership to the local team members.  This is a career level position with opportunities for growth that will provide great personal satisfaction.

 

Minimum Requirements:

? Prepare annual operating budget

? Perform monthly forecast based upon actual performance and changing customer needs

?  Complete monthly closings

? Create and post journal entries

? Reconciling and maintaining account reconciliations

? Analyze, interpret, and report Financial data

? Liaison with the Financial Systems team in maintaining the financial reporting system.

? Participate in special projects and process improvement initiatives?

? Analyze and calculate monthly performance measures. Monthly financial reporting and financial analysis to the plant manager Update and track plant ?key measures? Payrolls, time/attendance and benefits administration Control System Design & Implementation; Plus Report Writing Internal Auditing to Android?s Business System & Internal Controls

?Team-oriented approach Interface and direct contact with plant staff, and Corporate staff departments

Education and Experience Required

?  BS in Accounting

?  5 years experience in manufacturing or an inventory related field

?  5 - 6 years accounting experience,

?  Detailed oriented person

?  Good project management skills

?  Strong computer skills and Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel?

?  ERP experience (preferably using QAD)

?  Payroll system experience (preferably using Kronos)

?  Work experience for a privately owned company is a plus.
