Assistant Controller Cost needed

Primary Responsibilities


Day-to-day management of A/P, A/R, Fixed Assets, Inventory, and Payroll
Prepares and presents timely and accurate financial statements and reports
Forecasts short and long-range cash requirements and obligations as a basis for maintaining adequate funds
Monitors credit applications
Coordinates and manages the annual financial statement audit and tax return preparation with external auditors
Manages banking relationships
Manages month-end closing activities
Manages fixed assets
Timely preparation of account reconciliations
Establish and maintain systems and controls which verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data

 

Skills Required


Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA/MBA preferred.
Solid knowledge of financial accounting/GAAP
Demonstrated supervisory skills
Good communication skills.
Comfortable presenting complex financial information to wide variety of audiences in an understandable format.
Experience working in a standard cost manufacturing environment.
Experience in a Tier 1 or 2 ERP environment
