Assistant Controller - L

Growing company in South Palm Beach County is seeking an Assistant Controller.

You will be responsible for:

? Planning and directing accounting activities within the accounting department through risk analysis, project management, efficient skill-set utilization and effective communication.

? Overall responsibility for the general ledger and direct responsibility for the general accounting, financial reporting and payroll department.

? Responsible for various government compliance projects related to the preparation and filing of Sales/Use tax, tangible personal property tax and real property (real estate) tax returns on a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual basis.

? Supervision of professional staff

Requirements:

Degree in Accounting

CPA strongly preferred

Minimum 10 years professional experience

 

 

Salary:  $85,000 - $100,000
