Assistant Global Controller

This International corporation?is the driving force in virtually every major card program around the world specializes in ID and card personalization solutions that are used to issue millions of financial card and identification documents each day. Corporation is seeking an Assistant Global Controller.

Responsibilities:

Provide strategic financial leadership and support for the financial reporting department.

Ensure accuracy and consistency in accounting policies, routines and controls, and full compliance with statutory requirements

Manage global consolidations and assist with analysis of all accounting activities during the month/quarterly close and forecast processes

Coordinating the annual budget process

Serve as liaison to external auditors

Develop and monitor controllership metrics

Drive global consistency and process improvements/simplification

Provide guidance in research and resolution of technical issues

Assistant Global controller in establishing accounting policies and creating accounting procedures to improve controllership environment

Assist with reconciliation of purchase accounting related balances for acquisitions.

Integrate risk assessment &audit planning with internal and external and external audit staff

Qualification:

Undergraduate degree in Accounting

6 years of prior accounting experience

Excellent communication skills

Strong accounting research skills

Strong leadership skills

CPA preferred
