Assistant Global Controller to $75k+ - Secure Id And Card Personalization Solutions

Job Description: Secure ID and card personalization solutions company seeks an Assistant Global Controller to provide strategic, financial leadership and support for the Financial Reporting Department.
Ensure accuracy and consistency in accounting policies, routines and controls, and full compliance with statutory requirements.
Manage global consolidation and assist with analysis of all accounting activities during the monthly/quarterly close and forecast processes.
Coordinate the annual budget process.
Serve as liaison to external auditors.
Develop and monitor controllership metrics.
Drive global consistency and process improvements / simplification.
Provide guidance in the research and resolution of technical issues.
Assist Global Controller in establishing accounting policies and creating accounting procedures to improve overall controllership environment.
Assist with reconciliation of purchase accounting related balances for acquisitions.
Integrate risk assessment and audit planning with Internal and External Audit staff.
Desirable Qualifications:
Knowledge of Oracle ERP,
ability to document conclusions as they relate to accounting issues,
ability to prioritize multiple tasks,
strong attention to detail,
proactive and high energy and
experience with Sarbanes-Oxley ("SOX") 404 requirements and methodologies.
