USG Corporation has an immediate opening for an Assistant Plant Controller at its East Chicago?plant in Indiana.?

The position will be responsible for the following:Responsible for the supervision of 4 office staff employees.? Assist in training of staff.Track, allocate, and balance daily raw materials usage.Reconcile inventories and maintain inventory accuracy.Close plant month-end costs which include performance in cost book preparation, cost allocation, and performance statement reconciliation (PSR).Compile cost data for preparation of operating budgets.? Prepare estimates of new or proposed product costs.? Perform other accounting duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

?Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, and or related field.Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong analytical and decision making skills; ability to meet deadlines.Solid cost accounting knowledge and preferably manufacturing experience.Computer literate, including a good writing knowledge of Microsoft Office programs - Excel, Word, and Access.High level of determination and self-motivation.? Willing to relocate for future promotions.
