Assistant Treasurer – Cash Management

Volt Information Sciences, Inc. has an immediate need for an Assistant Treasurer, Cash Management in our corporate office in NYC, NY. The Assistant Treasurer will be responsible for external reporting on existing accounts receivable securitization and credit facility (revolver) monthly, quarterly and annual reports. Domestic cash management duties encompass administration for the following: US Treasury Group daily ?US? cash activity, controls for company-wide bank web products, and controls for incoming and outgoing bank files. You will have accountability to review weekly cash flow and investment debt schedules, daily short-term borrowing position schedules and to oversee maintenance programs of treasury workstation and offsite disaster recovery backup system. In this high profile role, you will liaise with accounting, credit and other departments for documentation of scheduled and ad-hoc reporting. Foreign cash management duties involve the  administration and review US Treasury Group daily ?foreign? cash activity. You will have supervisory responsibilities over the Treasury Analyst and Assistant Cash Manager in addition to managing commitments, deliverables and timelines for special project assignments as directed by Treasurer or Senior Officers of the company. Lastly, this position acts as backup to Assistant Treasurer ? Special Projects.

 

Ideal candidate will possess Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance; MBA preferred. For success in this role, we require seven to ten years business experience in a sophisticated corporate financial environment; minimum 6 years managing others. Must have proven ability to improve processes, champion change, build partnerships, and influence decisions in addition to sstrong analytical and conceptual skills. Excellent communication with the ability to interact with all levels of management as well as being an effective manager with strong interpersonal skills mandatory. Also required is the aability to work in a fast paced environment and to manage multiple priorities and deliverables.
