We are currently recruiting for an Associate Finance Manager in our growing Sacramento operation.

This is a developmental position, we realize that the key to our future lies in finding and attracting top talent, individuals that embrace accountability and seek opportunity.
Development candidates must be willing to spend 1-2 years working alongside our experienced Finance Manager in Sacramento, California, then be available for relocation for long term assignment to anywhere in the USA.

With 17 plants in 9 states and new plants opening, opportunities exist for the driven professional.

DESCRIPTION:
The position will be responsible for managing the activities of Credit, A/R and Payroll; track and report plant efficiencies and manufacturing costs, coordinate budgeting, forecasting, month-end close and analysis, cost of material calculations, administering finance/purchasing policy and reviewing and authorizing vendor contracts.

REQUIREMENTS:
? Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Business.
? Manufacturing Cost Accounting Experience
? Leadership of 2 or more employees.


ROLE:
? Budgeting/Forecasting and analyzing budget variances.
? Analysis of daily operations: sales, productivity, labor & material consumption and costs vs units produced and margin analysis.
? Manager of Credit and Accounts Payable.
? Manage procedures and controls systems.
? Responsible for physical inventories.

ACCOUNTABILITY:
? Effective utilization of Milgard Performance System
? Integrity of Location Financial Information.
? Credit Management and Accounts Receivable.
? Accuracy and Timeliness of Monthly Financial Statements.

? Budgeting and forecasting.
? Manufacturing cost reporting and inventory.
? Control of Department Expenses.
? Payroll and Labor.
? Accounts Payable/Purchasing
? Fixed Asset/Capital Expenditure Analysis, Budgeting and Tracking.
? Information Systems.

MEASUREMENTS:
? Credit ? Days Sales Outstanding, Days Beyond Terms, Bad Debt.
? Submit closing entries or schedules on time.
? Materials gap is captured and reported.
? Cycle count accuracy.
? Expenses not to exceed budget
? Develop direct reports through MPS.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting or Business required.
