Associate Internal Auditor - IT

Assists in the execution of information technology and business process related audits with supervision. Reviews assigned portions of internal audit programs, determining compliance with policies and procedures, recommending corrective actions, and preparing reports. Requires 1-3 years of experience.-Review, test and evaluate information technology and business process related controls and conduct analysis under the direction of a Senior Associate or Manager.
-Demonstrate understanding in the areas of general IT and application controls, IT infrastructure and applications auditing methods, systems development lifecycle, ERP lifecycle, and engagement delivery.
-Learn and execute on IT security and control reviews of various technologies and processes, including (but not limited to): Mainframe, AS/400, Unix, Windows NT/2000, Database Management Systems (Oracle, DB2), Network Connectivity, Access Administration, Production Environment Access Control, LDAP, and Active Directory.
-Participate in the design and evaluation of information security, automated and manual process controls around SAP, Peoplesoft, Oracle or other ERP business systems.
-Evaluate controls associated with the implementation, operation, support and maintenance of the technical environment including configuration, security, development, master data, conversions and interfaces.
-Perform segregation of duties analysis of system users based on reviews of transactional access.
-Deliver work at the highest level of quality to ensure department and professional standards are maintained.
-Assist in audit report preparation process by drafting observations and obtaining related management action plan responses.
-Develop effective relationships with information technology, process/systems change implementation initiative, financial, and operational management within both Corporate and Operating Groups.-Bachelor's degree, with emphasis in Information Technology, Accounting or other related fields.
-CIA, CISA, CIRM, CISSP or other applicable professional certifications or candidates for certification desired.
-1-3 years of Information Technology, IT Consulting, IT Auditing, and/or Public Accounting experience.
-ERP application and business process redesign experience, in an implementation or auditing role is desired. SAP experience is a big plus.
-Personal computer proficiency, specifically Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, Project, etc.).
-Excellent analytical, interpersonal, change management, and communication skills (written, oral and listening).
-Knowledge of key and emerging business technologies; Desire and ability to learn new technologies quickly.
-Prior experience in auditing business applications such as SAP R/3, BPCS, Oracle Financials, Peoplesoft, Manugistics, Red Prairie, etc. is a plus.
-Strong customer service attitude; Team player; Strong desire for knowledge; Adaptability and flexibility in a fast changing environment.
